    HI,
It took a while as I couldnt remember my login info. (I havent logged in in iver 10 Years)
The HL-8 was obsolete before PDF was invented. I dont think anyone scanned the manuals afterwards.
Wesinghouse built the HL series of tracing eyes and dreive amplifiers. They have been bought and sold a few times in the past 20 years.
They are currently called Rhino Systems and still located in Burlington Ontario.

They may have the manuals still. That stuff was designed in the 70's and many of the semiconductors are no longer manufactured.
It is a tricky analog system and difficult to align properly. (I never had much luck with the Eyes and always managed to get someone else to align them.)
You have to use India Ink for the tracings (Sharpies do not work)

The HL-8 was a tracing eye and small 100 Watt analog drive built in one box. Im not sure what other boxes you have.
I havent worked on one in over 15 years, or seen a working one reciently.

Feel free to send pictures and Ill help identify your system components.
