Hi guys, I'm cutting polycarbonate sheets (4 stacked up, 1/8") which have a protective paper film on both faces. My problem is that when the waterjet starts a cut the polycarbonates paper film bubbles up and we get abrasive stuck in between the film and the polycarbonate, which results in extra time to clean each one of the cut pieces. Any ideas as to what could be done to prevent this? We've already tried getting the nozzle (mixing tube) as close as 1/8" but since the poly sheets are stacked up, they bounce a little bit, so just to be safe we are running the cut with the nozzle at around 1/4" elevation from the sheets.

Flow Waterjet MACH 2
Water Pressure: 50,000 psi

Any contributions would be greatly appreciated.
