Hello,

My name is Kevin. I've always had a curiosity with machine work. Until about a year ago I figured I'd never be given the opportunity to learn the trade. Well that all changed about six months ago when I got what I consider a great job in a small shop. It's a small shop for a company that prefers to machine all of there own parts in house. Our part runs are almost always under 100. We also do a lot of proto stuff. So I must say I rarely am bored with just hitting the green button. I've learned so much in the short time I've been with the company and I am hungry to learn more. I'm currently learning mastercam which is really cool. So anyway, I guess I'm just sharing my excitement as well as introducing myself. Our shop has all Haas machines. Vf-2 vf-3 vf-4 and a new vf-5. We cut almost entirely 6061 aluminum and some plastics. I'll have to get some pictures of our shop.
