Hey

During a change over in my shop a lot of time is spent removing and replacing tool block on the turrets of CNC lathes. At the moment we just use hex keys, pipes, and the occasional wack with a rubber mallet when needed. The issue is that most times with the blocks close together it makes getting the hex key in a pain. Does anyone use battery impacts to remove the bolts? Also does anyone use them for installation? I was thinking an impact with a torque extension stick might work. It would be long tho since most bars are 8" plus the impact and then plus the hex bit. Anyone else got any tips or tricks to speed this up?

Thanks
