I would get a host you don't what the trouble of maintaining a server. I like and use Adobe GOLive to create html, it's very easy to use.

Take a look at www.westhost.com after many days of looking for a good web host, I settled with them. Very affordable prices, and they have very good service.

For HTML editing and such, I'm a big fan of the Macromedia suite of programs, such as Fireworks, Flash, and of course, Dreamweaver. Of course, I couldn't live without Adobe Photoshop for serious picture retouching.

I went with Digitronic for my web hosting. http://digitronicweb.com/webhosting.html

The cost is very good for the silver account and I have not even come close to using 80MB of space. What I like is it has Unlimited Bandwidth for the price. If you post movie files to download you will not need to worry about going over your limit and being charged for it!

    Thanks

You can also look at www.aplus.net I used them for a few years,Now I send customers and freinds there.

Talk to Steve Aurtra tell him Jay Kramer sent you.

Good luck on what ever you decide to pick.

Also for Building website I mostly use Netobject Fusion but some time use te others like Dreamweaver.

Also for pictures and such I use Photo shop7.
