Default Custom made gear knobs with BMW logo for resale?

Would it be legal to produce and sell gear knobs for cars with their own logos? I thought it could be a good idea to produce gear knobs of burly wood and an inlay of engraved ivory at the top for expensive cars and sell them online for a good price.

Anybody here who know thel rules for this?

You've got a few issues to deal with here. First off, using any car company logos is going to make you subject to lawsuits for trademark infringement. Here's a simple guide to IP law in your country: https://uk.practicallaw.thomsonreute...ge=true&bhcp=1

The second problem is the burly wood. You'll need to provide certificates of fumigation if you want to export it outside Norway; the EU is particularly sensitive when it comes to preventing possible infestations: https://business.gov.nl/regulation/p...y-inspections/ You might also need to prove it was sustainably sourced.

The third issue is the ivory. Most countries, including Norway, the US and the EU, are signatories of the CITES treaty, which prohibits the import, export, or sale of most ivory products: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CITES

Aside from that, it looks like clear sailing for your project...

    No. Just no.
Wrong in so many ways. Find something else.

If you have an agreement with the auto manufacture to make aftermarket parts with there logo on it you would be fine just get it in writing as for using bone for inlay would not be a problem also only if the bone is from endanger protected animals it would be a problem, you could also use synthetic ivory plastic

Look up bone carving in NZ this is an everyday item that are worn all over the world and is for sale
