What sort of product is it?
Does anyone have any experience with selling product to Home Depot. I heard they are very good testing new product, in local stores first and then if it sells well, that store manager will have the know how to try and get it into different regions. Hoping others have recommendations for attempting this process. Chad

With something like that, I'd advise approaching a smaller outlet first. Is there a machine shop supply in your area you're already doing business with? Or a locally-owned hardware store? Their purchasing process will be a lot less bureaucratic than a huge chain's. I'm not saying you couldn't ultimately sell them at Home Depot, but working up to it gradually will give you a firmer base to go forward from.

Home depot will place 100% of the risk on you. Just know that going in. They want all of the profit, and none of the responsibility of failure.
