CNC CAD Software
Hello, I have been working with Aspire for the last few years on my DIY CNC machine and it's been fun making all kinds of flat and 3D signs and plaques.... I want to move to making parts and using the machine to do more complex things with my CNC .... I use Mach3 for CAM . Can anyone suggest and CAD software whats no to hare to learn???

Re: CNC CAD Software
Hi gary - CAD is always a bit hard to learn it seems. If you want free CAD then look at "Free cad" https://www.freecadweb.org/ and mechsoft. If you want commercial CAD then you need to know if you want parametric solid, mesh or NURBs based geometry. para solid work is mechanical type surfaces, mesh modelling is more sculptural stuff and NURBS is anything, sculpture, character modelling, engineering, film etc. Look at Rhino3D.
