Hi there
I need to make Brass Wax Stamp, similar to the attached photo, i have the blank Bass heads, 23 & 30 mm diameters.
What software free/paid can achieve fine details of these stamps? And what are out there the matching bits for these fine details engraves!
I appreciate your time reading this.
thanks

Make no mistake between my personality and my attitude.
My personality is who I am. My attitude depends on who you are.
30 deg or 60 Deg I used ,I looked into making them $2 outa china with a nice handle I can't buy brass for the price they are charging have fun this is the key to life.
Those bits would work better for that project if you stoned the tips down to a rounder profile. If they're extremely sharp, then you'd have to put the tool passes very close together to avoid a striated surface. Or you could use a small ball-nose cutter.
What kind of software are you looking for? Is it to make the models, or to translate pre-existing models into tool paths? These are different sorts of programs, although you'll sometimes see both functions combined in a single package.

your ideas are great, i am using Vectric Aspire, it is awesome. i am intending to grave letters and simple shapes into 0.5 mm brass/copper heads.
The v-bits will work great, You may want to remove any material and the flats you can with a 1/16 or so flat bottom or ball end mill to cut down on the machining time, then finish cut with the end mill. Aspire or Artcam
would work great for this project. So would v-carve I'd imagine. Inventor with HMS would also work great but has a higher learning curve. Have fun!
