    Default New to CNC

    Hello to fellow members

My name is Simon, a complete novice, I have just finished building my CNC. I purchased from Amberspyglass. It sits 500mm across the X axis and 750 down the Y axis. It's as big as can fit in my small 10" by 10" workshop and it sits nicely next to my lathe (my other passion) have a cheap router hooked up to it at the moment, its surprisingly good for £35 however I will be saving up for a decent spindle.

The electronics and Nema17's are shipped in from China, nothing special breakout board and 6650 steppers.. Today I inlay-cut a 2D, Game of Thrones - Stark Banner - In search of more challenging projects I came across this site.

    Si

One of these Shapokos: https://amberspyglass.co.uk/? How is it working for you? Do all the inlays fit perfectly, or do they need modification by hand?
