What kind of machine is this? Is the spindle controlled with a relay, or with voltage sent to a VFD?
issue with spindle start up when executing a job
Hello everyone,
i am brand new to this forum and new to the CNC world. This is my first post. i am hoping some one can shed some light on an issue i am having. i cannot get the spindle to start at the beginning of the program. i can run the program and it seems to go through all the motions but the spindle does not start up. i can start the spindle manually before hand but as the programs executes it slows down and stops. i have checked the gcode and the M3 and speed and M5 and M30 are in place. i am using a Richauto A11 DSP unit and Vectrics Aspire. Any help would be much appreciated !

Check to see if there are any S words (and parameters) in your G-Code file. I've noticed the A11 does not like these and will stop the spinndle. Also, if you set the A11 to Speed 1 then the M03 doesn't start the spidle either.
