SimplyCam Editing

Has anybody used the software product SimplyCam. I'm trying to use the functions of splitting and joining entities. I tried contacting the author with out to much success and was hoping that somebody with experience using this product could help me or point me in a direction where I can find some additional documentation on using these function. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
