Hi Guys,

I'm a new torchmate 3 user, all my life i have been working with hypertherm due to change of work place.

My problem is every time i activate the ohmic sensor to use it, it just pierces a hole and and machine completely stops cutting. I am left with the problem by the previous user. The machine is a torchmate 3 CNC cutting machine.

I have tried a couple procedures that need to be verified in order for Ohmic to work correctly. First i ensured the torch is starting out from the top of its travel, which in this case is Zero. I also tried to jog the Z axis up till it is topped out, pressed the Reset Z button, and at this point i jogged the z axis down to help better position the torch onto the material, then pressed the Set Program Zero button.

Please help guys as cutting without the sensor on puts the torch head on risk of bumping onto material and breaking. My email is ikuambiw@gmail.com.

Thankas.
