Hi everyone,
Hopefully I've got a easy question (and sorry if it was an earlier thread, couldn't find it). I'm doing my final project and I need to control the output force of a electromotor.
My thougts where that if I controlled the ampere going in (P=U*I) I can control the motor (I was thinking of using a servo). But reading up on the internet made me weary. I don't know what to belief anymore.
I was thinking about a closed loop system (with a servo motor) where i had feedback from a force sensor and because i have control over the motor i can gradually increase the force till breaking point (Not of the motor but the sample). Since i can read the outgoing force and I've got the sensor, I can check my own measurements.
If anyone has a definitive anwser to the question it would help me a lot.
