hi all
I have a problem with my diy cnc. I have to going right as it move OK and calibrated right i am use mm. my cutting size is X=350mm Y=400mm and using mach 3 demo
.My problem is that when i want to move 50mm i have to type in .50mm and when i want to move 100mm i have to type 1. ect
When I did my sketch in fusion 360 i did it all in mm eg 50mm /50mm sq but when i put it into mach3 it wouldn't cut right
As I can see i have done everything right i zero it all right, i put the cnc in the middle of the table zero it there and then line the sketch there i but when i go to cut the sq it goes to the edge of the cnc machine and try to keep going.
It seem to my the decimal point is in the wrong place
so i hope some can help

thanks for replying i will have to check but would see anything
In Config/motor tuning you'll see a steps per unit setting. Try increasing the number of steps by a factor of ten, and see if things are closer to right. The issue with zeroing is probably a mismatch between the origin set in your CAD model and the zero points you're setting on your machine - they should be the same.
