Default Questions about a Seco boring bar

I just purchased a Seco boring bar and can not find any info on their site. It is a Seco Tools L 135.19-20-3. It's a 1.250 diameter that I was going to spin down to 1.00 to use on my Hardinge. Now I am thinking it may too valuable to destroy it. I need to find out more about its value and the particular inserts that it uses. Thanks, Brian.

I am sure SECO make inserts for that bar, but I am not sure it is a SECO bar. It looks very much like a standard MVJn bar for 35 deg rhombic inserts.
Or SVJN, or SVUN or ... there's a number of them.
Mind you, turning it down might be a shade more difficult than you thought. It could be a shade hard.

    Cheers
    Roger
