Re: CAD drawings of most popular V8 engine bellhousing patterns
Hi, new to the forum. I'm looking for the bolt pattern for the universal bellhousing that fits both Buick and Chevrolet. I'm wanting to make an adapter for a 200-4r transmission to a 1951 Chrysler flathead 6. I could use either the Buick or Chevrolet pattern as a starting point.
I would also like the flexplate to crankshaft bolt pattern if someone has it.
I have the sb Chrysler pattern you are asking for and in trade I sure would like to see that OM617 pattern and the BOP pattern.I could not attach anything to it how would you like to do this?
Re: CAD drawings of most popular V8 engine bellhousing patterns
Hi All,
First time poster here after finding this page. I have a transmission dyno and I am currently updating my faceplate on it to add provisions for some new bell housing patterns.
I am after the following patterns/drawings if anyone can help:
Ford Y-Block
Ford Windsor 5 Bolt
Ford FE 330, 352, 390, 427, 428
Cadillac/Pontiac 429 (used in 1964)
Dodge V10 Magnum

Seems this thread may still be active...
Anyone that has bellhousing patters for domestic engines, I'd like copies. I could use the information for a few books I'm writing (I'd be particularly interested in dimensioned drawings for IHC I6 & V8 engines as used in their lighter trucks - through about Class 3/Class 4. (And, if anyone has a list correlating line code/option numbers to actual part model numbers, that would be fantastic!)
