    Question whats this?

    any ideas?
    mechanical hand tach or speedo/tach drive?
    the story is the guy has kept this for 20 years trying to figure it out
    dosnt have any ideas, smaller end has to be rotated to turn the larger wheel
    they say its 50:1

    the pic with the numbers is just something i found with google.
    im still not sure if the bottom pic was just a hand tool or if that skinny end was also like a mount
    on some of the old speedo/odometer it also shows that little knob for resetting odometer?
    i am still trying to see if i can get this for few days to have better look
