    I need some help. How do I calculate the correct speed of the tools. I operate a cnc Homag Centateq N-300

    Need to consider from many aspects, like tool type, cutting material, workpiece shape and so on.
    Normally we can try different speeds, from low to high, then choose the the most efficient one.

    Use gwizard. It's a bit of software that calculates speeds and feeds for you with adjustments for the type of machine you're using.

    It's free to try for 30 days and it's a great tool IMO. I particularly appreciated the way it tailors recommended speeds and feeds so it's not giving you numbers that are optimal for a 10 ton VMC for people who are using a benchtop cnc router.
