I need to attach some 2 x 4s to the corners of a sea container. The corner fittings are designed for an incredible amount of force so available fasteners are huge & expensive.
See the attached photo of a Sea container corner fitting.
I was about to design a fitting that goes into the corner casting, turns one quarter turn and has shoulders to keep it from turning back when a bolt through the center puts tension on it.
The machining will not be hard & the drawing/CAD process will be no sweat.
Just wondering if anybody else has already made something like this so I don't have to duplicate the effort.
