Machining ASTM-B196 C17200 Copper
Hey All- So I'm bidding a job that contains machining the above listed Copper. I've never machined any copper and thought I would get some opinions on it? does it machine like Aluminum, Brass? Any tips before I take this job? It's all milling, no turning. Normal machining operations, no crazy features or anything. A couple tolerances on surfaces being +/- .001 but nothing crazy. It's large Qty and will be doing this on our Haas VF2. Any opinions or help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!
