I have a REDSAIL laser X 1201 and this machine worked 2 times within 6 monthes. There is a main bug in the soft. REDSAIL sent me many patches but it is worth and worth, and now the machine is completely out of order
I am totaly upset with that. Have you found a solution with yours

i almost buy from redsail. But i decide to buy from rabbit.
maybe you could change the software and the driver.
or contact redsail agent near your location. i heard they have agent on US, canada, UK, africa.

are you using easycut software on laptop?
if yes, maybe problem in your com port.
don't use USB to COM. better use PCMCIA to COM.

Please consider wklaser(GWEIKE-laser), the machine coming with USB port. Can be used on laptom.
Also the machine adopt laser cut 5.1 as it's software. This softwr also can output directly through coredraw and autocad. Friendly and easily to use.

What is the difference between LaserCut 5.0 and LaserCut 5.1 software? What changes have been made to 5.1? Do you know?

and that using usb support.
more convenience than com port.
