where to start ! , the complete set up has been bought and moved to my shop so , we are re assembling it , got it all up and running yesterday , but it's obvious that the laser path is out of alignment , , the laser path out of the laser cabinet has one fixed mirror at 45 at the y axis gantry point , and then one at the top of the z axis at 45 degrees and finaly the lens at the nozzle , the laser is a Photon VFD 600 .
i have spent quite some time on getting the laser cabinet aligned with the xy table mechanicly making sure the telescopic tube between is straight etc .
i'll post some pic's

Adjustment is typically done by placing a piece of paper/cardboard between the laser and the first mirror, then giving a single laser pulse. Keep adjusting the laser position/aim until the beam is centered on the mirror (replacing the cardboard each time). Once you have that centered, do the same with the second mirror, this time adjusting the first mirrors aim and leaving the laser alone. This process continues until all mirrors and optics have been aligned.
