Turning the machine on and the laser tube turns on immediately...Help!

I have replaced the power supply on a 40w laser with what looks like an identical power supply. Judging from the diagrams, the connections are identical. However, when turning the machine on the laser tube immediately fires up and stays on until I quickly push the emergency stop. Any suggestions to what could be going on?

you can change from NC switch to NO switch to turn on laser. Or use time delay switch ...
