I've got the classic 60w Chinese laser that it seems everyone has. I noticed it slowly being less and less efficient when cutting and the tube was about 3 years old so I thought it was about time to change tubes. So I bought a brand new 60w tube and installed it. Got it all dialed in and focused using the pulse feature. but when i went to run a cut program i noticed the power tapered off drastically within about 5 seconds. I'd turn it off for a while, turn it on and it would again start off really strong, and then die off in about 5 seconds of holding down the pulse button (to the point where it would barely engrave)
I cleaned the mirrors and lens, and I still see the pink light in the tube still. Is this a power supply problem? Is there something else I'm missing?
