    Default cw3000 chiller fan

    hi, first post here.
simple question, is the fan on the back of the cw3000 run all the time when the unit is on? or just after it reaches curtain temp?

thanks, any idea what temp it starts at? our temp has hit 45c with no fan... kinda want it to stay cooler than that, so the laser stays happy.

That’s way warm. Seem to recall 20C.
I have a CW3200 (compressor type) on a laser that I set at 16. I use the CW3000 on a water cooled spindle. It’s not well suited for a laser.

Use to run a small radiator in ice water when on the laser. A real pain to have to use ice.
