    Post Diy co2 laser build

    Hello!
I want to make an co2 laser cutter in a budget of 350EUR (About 400$). I have already built an 30W (7.5W optical output) diode laser cutter, but it is too weak for my liking. I am thinking of ordering these components:

    Co2 tube(metal head): https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3265...c000VNYDU&mp=1
    Head: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3277...c000VNYDU&mp=1
    Power supply: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3280...c000VNYDU&mp=1
    Ampmeter: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3259...c000VNYDU&mp=1
    Air: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000...c000VNYDU&mp=1
    Water: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001...c000VNYDU&mp=1

Maybe someone with a lot of free time could go trough these components and maybe spot if ive made a little error, for example the air is not enough or something like that?

I know there is the cheap k40 laser cutter, but im not happy with the max cutting size. I am planning to make atleast 500x500. The k40 if im not wrong is only 200x300.

    Thanks!

You’ll need a controller. Stepper motors and drives. Belts and pulleys. A water chiller not just a water pump unless you plan on using a bucket of ice water. Not a suggestion btw.
Slides and frame to mount the slides on. Some way to rise/lower the platform. A platform to cut on. Sides and top/bottom to hold in the smoke. A way to exhaust the smoke(duct work and fan).
Other stuff like fasteners, limit switches , a computer the create designs, software, wiring, way to see into the cutting area. A place to put a machine about 1 m square.

The biggest challenge is to get everything aligned over 500mm square.
