    Question CO2 Laser types

    Hi
Just getting back into Laser engraving and cutting after a few years away. Something that I can't seem to find an answer on is what's the difference between a c-series and an E-series or any othe series. Appreciate if someone could enlighten me.

    Cheers.

Just found the answer. For those interested the answer lies not in the machine but in the Lens system. Confusion

This is from Russ on his SarbarMultimedia YouTube channel:

The difference is small and all to do with the lens tube diameter. The C series is 24mm diameter and is fixed to the head with a collet type clampring. The E series is 25mm diameter and is fixed to the head with split sleeve clamp and thumb screw.

    Would you care to elaborate?

Why elaborate a topic that is completely nonsensical and lacks basic knowledge of lasers?

Oh, OK. So you were born an expert.

No idea why you think it was nonsensical, it was a perfectly reasonable question. I had no idea what the difference between the two series was.

    I'm done.

Your ? certainly seemed logical to me. Also thought you posting what you found out was courteous.
