Have you thought about just using a rivet tool to snug up the rivets and not break the pins off.
I have cut out some stars and moon shapes out of Acrylic and want to glue in some metal rivets/studs into cut holes.
The Rivets are almost a snug fit but move from side to side a little. What adhesive should I use to keep them in place? I hear super glue isn't ideal due to melting the Acrylic.
Thank you for any advice,

Hi WW10 - superglue will craze the acrylic. Epoxy will work. Peter
In my experience If it is "acrylic" cell or cast almost nothing will bond to acrylic but acrylic "long term". In general it takes a product like weld on 3, 4, ..... to chemically melt the material together and form a bond.
You can use an epoxy that is formulated for acrylic to bond something non acrylic to acrylic but this will not hold long term or very well. imho
Best method would be to cast embed into the sheet. Or better yet no holes at all and capture frame the material to hold in place.
