Laser won't turn off always on and no power control

Hi community, so i bought an used cnc with laser for engraving, I have no information on the product, but i tried testing laser first using lasergrbl software. I tried to print a small stencil pick (10x10cm) but on the white spots of the pic the laser won't turn off, its always on and burning, it has 3 connector pin, gnd, 12v, pwm, i turn the button on the laser on, and it starts burning the wood.
What am i doing wrong?

Hello.

Have you considered that the laser driver might be damaged?

When you first turn the laser on power is applied to the driver but then on a signal to the driver shuts the control element off or on according to the program.

If the only way to turn the laser off is turning the machine off it´s quite likely the laser driver is shorted. Most probably a MOSFET is used as the control element and you will require to replace it. You may need a service technician to do it.

Hello.

As far as I know the driver and tube are "married" together. You may have to ask the tube manufacturer for replacements.

Yet the option of having a service technician take a look at the driver might prove worth the time.
