New to laser cutting. Questions about focusing beam
I recently bought a laser diode module from Amazon. There was no documentation or instructions in the box and the page on Amazon no longer exists. All the was in the box, was the laser, some cables and a small aluminum cylinder. It doesn't appear the lens on the laser is focus-able so my thought was that the cylinder was some kind of spacer to ensure the laser is the proper distance from the work piece. My issue with this is it doesn't sound very exact. I think a adjusting lens would be better. So my question is is it possible to change out the lens for an adjustable one and if so, where should I look to purchase one.
