Hi, I have an 60w laser machine which I set to cut out a geometric pattern at 5mms, 30% Power at 2mm MDF. The 3 squares 100m x 100mm took 2.5hours (long time!). All 3 squares are from the same drawing on corel draw.
See enclosed attachment.
I cant understand why 2 of them have been cut correctly and 1 has not finished its job and decided to tell me its finished.
MDF is cheap but on more expensive materials I cant be having this problem.
How can I make sure this doesnt happen again, especially when I need to run a large volume and not have to sit there executing each one.
I would love to hear from the experienced folks on this forum.
Did all 3 run one after the other. It maybe that the tube is heating up and losing power. Or your mirrors are getting a little dirty from the MDF smoke
All 3 ran in one job, took 2h 30 mins at 400mms at 30%power on 2mm mdf. I did notice that it did one half of a square and moved onto the next then returned to the first and then moved onto the 3rd, then going back to the 1st. Note to self, do one at a time!
