K40 problem fresh out of the box!!! Please help!

I ordered the Mopron/k40 set it all up and when I turned it on the x-axis goes up and won’t stop and I can’t install the whisperer software either. Is anyone out there familiar with this as I’m pretty lost and new to the game. Thanks in advance.
