Default GCC Laser Spirit GX 100 watt cutting problem

    Hi all,
I have a serious problem with my GCC Spirit GX.
on every cutting job, the cut along the Y axis is good and along the X axis i get wavy lines.
i have attached two pictures of the problem.

I have changed all the roller ( X , Y and cutting head ) but no result.
    The beam alignement is OK.

Any help please because i have no idea.

    Thanks

Nice to write to you here.Maybe you can try the following solutions:
    1. Check the X-axis encoder cable and the plug for damage.
    2. Check if the X-axis coupling is loose.
    3. Check if there is any clearance between the X-axis bearing and the silk socket.
    4. Check the X axis setting parameters.
Hope it will help you solving the problems

I dont know the cutter at all im afraid, but have you made sure your bearings rods or rails on the X are clean and free moving? Is it belt driven? make sure the belt is allinged to the motors... basically check every mechanical part connected to X for any play or unintended moment...

By freely moving I mean, theres no grinding or binding on the bearings... or dirt...

    Thanks for your reply.
I have checked again the Bearing block onto the X Axis Linear Guide, and it seems that there is some clearance between the bearing block and the rail guide.
I will see if i can add some grease to the bearing block to solve the problem.
Other wise i have to change this Bearing Block.
