Default Good laser for cutting wood

    Hi All,

I would like to cut complex patterns in 3-4mm plywood with laser. My goal is to make clean and burn free cuts as fast as possible, probably with one path.
What kind of laser has the best energy level and wave length for that job? Can non CO2 diode lasers cut wood?

Can you recommend an exact non industrial size laser cutter for that?

    Thank You

CO2 is definitely the way to go, but a diode won't be powerful enough. You can get away with using a 40-60W laser and get nice clean cuts in one pass. Check out the Aeon MIRA, this is a great desktop CO2 laser and will do everything you need it to. Aeon Laser USA

I don't think you can achieve this with a laser. A rotary plotter/router would be a better choice.
