    Unhappy Cutting MDF Wood with Laser CO2

    Hello ALL,
    I got a 600x400 Laser CO2 machine.
    I can cut out the mica 5mm, but I can't do that with MDF Wood 5.5mm.
    I had set Speed 15mm/s and amper 45.

    Please help me, (

    What watt is your laser. 45 amps is way to high for most tubes. do you use air assist

    What do you think are the chances the machine caught fire and burned down ttnc4plus?

    fixtureman1 has the right idea to check the air assist, on a machine that large, would be surprised if there wasn't one, my school's 60w laser was cutting worse than a 30w laser all because of a loose bowden tube connection. Otherwise, what are your settings?
