Which type of laser machine for wall switches

Hi ,
iam looking for a laser to write on wall switch plates.Until now i had use label machines.Now i need a more professional and polished look.
I saw there few kinds of lasers ,some are better on different materials than others.On what i saw on few youtube videos UV Lasers can do this.
The wall switch material usually is hard plastic,rare cases glass and some metal.

Based on your experience which kind i should be looking?
