See if you can find the brand and the model number of the tube and check on the manufacturer website.
It is possible what you see on the tube label (102.3W) to be the peak value, not the actual operational wattage.

BTW this tube is a very poor choice if you intend to use the machine primarily for engraving. The 25-40W DC lasers have smaller fluctuation range and beam diameter, therefore the quality of the engraving would be significantly better.

Since you know the brand maybe you confirm the wattage by measuring the length of the tube. For some reason, I can't load the RECI's website but I remember they had a spec. sheet with the dimensions for all their models.

I remember some rumor year(?) ago about fake RECI tubes (@ ebay?) which was labeled RECI but was not even physically identical to their products. Unfortunately I don't heave links to that. Best way is to check real power (as Storen says) - this was my first idea. Small sellers from mass-sale portals feels unpunished.
You can try to "do research" by visual comparison with web pictures, but this should be only additional action.

Did you test the machine, how's the engraving result?

    The Reci W1 is rated from 75w - 90w.

The label rating is the peak measured power at the peak rated mA power input (29mA).

The ‘agreed’ power is the rating at 27mA, which is ‘90w’.

The rating at the most long-lasting setting, which is 25mA or less is 80W~

I would set my PSU to ~20mA, if engraving was my primary focus.

I would also invest in a Mahoney laser probe: https://www.bell-laser.com/product-p...be-0-200-watts

A genuine Reci will have a QR code you can scan which will take you to the page for that exact tube. All the information you need is on there.

Geniune Reci tubes have a QR scan code.

Avoid adding to rumour by posting unsupportable advice.
