Lasercad not engraving straight lines

Not sure what I'm doing wrong but if draw a straight line in Lasercad and select engraving I get a "No Data Found" error when I try to download, if I select cut it transfers to the machine OK but I want to engrave the lines not cut .

Same things occurs if I import a file with straight lines.

Any help / advice would be appreciated.

You would need a wider single line or just reduce the power also

You dont. You change it in your source. You probably need to make it greater than .5mm
