Unfortunately I don't know anything about this brand and it is difficult to find any information online. Does anyone have information about Voiern machines?
In my experience, the chassis of the machine tends to be much of a muchness - what you need to determine is the control system being used. On the larger options they seem to advertise having and RD6442 controller, which is a pretty decent system, IMO. I've not got any experience of the M2 Nano board, but it seems to be a motion controller as opposed to a full control system, so it'll need a PC attached at all times.
My personal preference would be for the offline controller.
As to the chassis hardware, as with any Chinese laser cutter, you'll need to go over it checking for assembly faults and making sure the mirror alignment and lens orientation is correct. It's also worth giving the wiring a look over.
Thanks for your help!
So after seeing the machine I'm pretty convinced it's right for me. As far as getting replacement parts for these machines, any ideas? The guy selling them seems pretty new to laser cutting himself. He's learning as he goes. He imports them 4-6 at a time and resells them. I just want to make sure that if I get into a situation where I need a part that I'm not screwed.
hi
yes indeed the M2 is a motion controller only
and in my own experience they are hard to come by, in fact we ended up scrapping one of these type clones because of parts issues so please check with your supplier
