Default Laser cutting .0078" sheet metal?

    Hi All,

    Hopefully a simple question.

I need to cut .0078" sheet metal. I need a work area of roughly 8" x 4". Steel or Aluminum would be fine. Would it be possible to get a fiber laser source to mount on a small cnc mill I already have (no, I don't want to use this to cut the sheet metal, it's honestly a major pain in the butt)? I'm thinking just buying the source would be cheaper...

Would a fiber galvo meet my needs? Would 20w cut the thin material?

    Any other options I'm missing?

    Thanks!
