Default Glass cutting table conversion or sell ?

    Hello,

I bought an used CSM Technologies Piccola L70R glass cutting CNC machine.
Machine is working but needs some time investment to make it perfect.

    Small video of it:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/ayai5oojos...50751.mp4?dl=0

    Features:

    - Dimensions of table are 112" x 162"
    - Runs on 208V 3 phases
    - There's a blower underneath to blow air when moving glass on table.
    - Table can tilt to about 70 degrees to move glass easier from and to the machine (there's a hydraulic power unit that runs a cylinder)
    - There are (yellow) pedals to activate but I don't really know what they do...
    - One servo-motor runs the long axis
    - One DC motor with encoder runs the short axis
    - Pneumatic cylinder move the glass-"knife" in Z
    - Code generation is from a software called Opty-Way from CSM Techno
    - Program runs from a floppy disk but I saw there's a way to change the floppy to a SD (HxC Floppy Emulator)

It was made in Italy in 2002. Company does not exist anymore. I know there are some
glass companies that still use them around the world. According to what I have read so far, the accuracy of cutting glass
    is around +/-0.20mm (about 0.008")

I have 4 ideas at the moment:

    - Modify the machine to cut glass with radius and shapes (which cannot do at the moment, only 90 degrees cut)
I tried some stuff with "G-Code" but maybe the axis cannot work together to marke curves or rounds shapes... ?
I think there could be a niche market for those special glass.
    - Sell complete machine (it is in working condition with software and computer).
    - Sell parts of it on eBay or something since everything seems to work good
    - Do a conversion to laser engraving/cutting (small power) or maybe even plasma cutting

    What do you think ?

Few weeks later... I just bought another CNC (AXYZ Millennium), will have a post something about it soon, will give the link here...

    As for the glass cutting machine;

I am currently taking a look at a conversion for it to do laser engraving/cutting.
I am considering selling parts from it on eBay or similar website, maybe theres a market for those parts ? (since the company doesn't exist anymore)

I've check some website and the best conversion might be to have a Mach3 interface board with steppers motors drivers.

So far, I take a look in the DynoMotion KFLOP/KSTEP board that seems to be open source alot but on higher price range
here's a video to introduce it:

I've saw the AKZ250 Mach3 controller that is about half price of DynoMotion but it's much less customizable.
Afterwards, the idea would have been to buy some stepper drivers for it.
here's a nice video of it:

Still taking a look and searching what would be best for it.
