Default DIY Laser Build - Mirror Alignment

    Hey all,

Chasing some advice on my new DIY co2 laser build.

I'm at the stage of mounting the laser tube holders, mirrors etc.

I'm wondering how close you have to be with physically aligning parts.

Eg. Does the centre of my laser tube have to be basically at the centre height of my first mirror? Can it be (as an example) 50mm down?

Does proper mirror alignment make a lot of this negligible or should you do your best to line things up height wise and and 90 degrees etc and go from there?

Im just working out how to mount things and its going to be a little tricky.

    Thanks all

The closer to the center is the best

On mine if you are off on the last mirror you get an angled cut. center center center that is what they tell you

Not true. As for the last mirror beam must be at the RIGHT place. Mostly it is the center but not allways.
Beam must hit the center of LENS.
Other mirrors are not so important.
Of course all mirrors in the center is best option but not The Must.

If the co2 laser machine is finished?
As i known,co2 laser machine is not popular in EURO and America.
Presently fiber laser is the trending...
hmm.you buy the accessories and then assembly them by yourself?
