    Default Cutting Rowmark and Clean-up

    Greetings All.
I hope I'm posting this in the correct area. I have been having a problem with a large amount of plastic residue left on my finished product after cutting 1/32 Rowmark. I am a relative new user to this site and Laser Machining in general. I work for a company who makes ADA Compliant signage, we recently Acquired a used laser machine, the CFL-CMA1612T (the company is Cam Five and t uses SmartCarve4.3 for the software). For a little over a week I have been running copious amounts of testing to try and get familiar with the machine and for the most part i have a pretty good grasp on it. However the main reason we got the machine is what is giving me the hardest time. I have tried cutting it on the final acrylic pieces and just on the bed, no matter what settings I change or amount of airflow I run though it. I end up with staining and residue on the signs. Any tips or advice you all would be willing to give would be the best

It looks like a bed of nails. that keeps your material up and the air can blow awy the soot and gives a cleaner cut. Also a honey comb bed helps but you get more flash back with those.

Oh, I have a honeycomb bed set up in it already and I do get some flashback but the residue varies between runs and from what i can tell its hard to pinpoint where the issue starts

Is your honey comb sitting on the base or is it raised up I find that if I raise mine with a few little blocks in the corners that I get less gunk build up on my cuts.
