Default Upgrading a Diode Laser table for light cutting work

I am new to laser cutting/engraving and purchased a Chinese 2.5w diode laser table locally. I got it going quickly enough, and realized I will need to do some upgrading

It does a great job engraving with the funky CNCC software it was designed for, but I want to be able to cut wood, and coroplast. It will cut 4mm ply in 4 passes at full power, but wont quite cut the coroplast flutes all the way through. I was thinking of picking up a more powerful laser but I am not quite sure what the right one to buy would be. What would you guys suggest for a sensible upgrade for light duty hobby cutting?

I was looking at this one on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/8W-8000mW-p...QAAOSw~FJZFHdN

over 80 views and no replies? Would I be better off just picking up a K40 and starting there?

Do you allow the possibility that nobody knows? Looks like laser LED's are not popular enough to 80 viewers have no good answer to your question.

Thanks! I did see the endurance 8w diode laser and was considering it when I found a barely used k40 on craigslist for $200. I got it working, aligned the mirrors, and set up a 700 cfm fan to vent fumes to the outside. Just got my air assist nozzle today and an airbrush compressor from horrible fright. the moshidraw software seems to be pretty shoddy but it will do for a while until I can grab a smoothie board. I love the k40 though. what an awesome little machine! I have been able to cut 3/8" MDF, ply, acrylic, balsa, graham crackers...all kinds of fun! It definitely cuts coroplast which is what I was really looking for, but it does so much more! I am now getting into all the cools stuff that lasers can do. I will upgrade the tube to a 100w when this tube starts getting tired, and build a bigger table. Definitely dig the K40 though. It was cheaper than the 8w diode from endurance, and is over 4x more powerful!
