Question Help... table was not low enough, and now laser won't move all the way down y axis

    Hi everyone,

New to this forum. We use our laser etching machine to brand our chairs. We just received it last month (link here to exact product). I had a whole bunch of Ipe slats (very dense wood) in there right now, and after the initial setup, turned the machine on, completely forgetting to move the table down. The laser knocked all of the Ipe slats out of the way, and the table was making a loud noise when I moved it down, and now the laser won't go all the way down the y-axis. Are there any easy fixes for this, or will I need to call a tech?

    Thank you in advance,

Check under the table to see if anything fell down and is blocking the path. My guess is if its belt drive up and down the Z axis then perhaps the belt jumped a few cogs. Same for the Y axis. Unless you guys have mechanics on staff that can figure it out, yes call your service tech.
