Default Help harrowing down first engraver.

I am going to pull the trigger very soon on an engraver and need some advice. I want to etch mugs (glass and stainless ) so that is my main reason for wanting a laser. I have talked to a couple of people and they say 40 watt is enough power. So my question is I have talked to Marco at light object, full spectrum , thunder laser , and have looked at the eBay Chinese ones. I am not sure which way to go. My budget is 3-4 ,000. I know the eBay ones are hit or miss but they are under my budget and I could update the internals with the light object parts when they crap out. The full spectrum h series I have heard bad things about service. The light object pro series laser I would like but not sure I want to spend that on my first one. Can't afford epilog ,universal and trotec. So some advice would be greatly appreciated . Thanks in advance.
