I received a request from a customer to cut some 1" InsulPink foam. Obviously my Universal VLS4.60 will cut it like butter .... but I'm wondering if it is especially messy, if it will gum up the insides of my machine? I use my machine about 8 hours a day to cut MDF, Acrylic and some paper type products for products that I manufacture and I do not want to mess it up with a bunch of foam residue and have to stop and clean it every time I do this job.
Anyone have experience cutting this material in their laser? How was it?
Anyone ever cut 1" Owens Corning InsulPink Foam?
