    OK the most I think of it, the more i'm sure, the p on the new power supply ---> to the ground
    and the P-(K+ on the old supply) ----> to the H of the new power supply.

    I'm going to try, I hope everything will be OK.
    I will told you if it's OK, your diagram could be useful for someone else .

    Here is the result .... well it works and it doesn't works.
    I explain myself, I connected the P-(k+ on the old power supply) from the control panel on the H of the power supply, and the P of the power supply has been connected to the ground.

    Here is what's happening: when I connect the cable to the ground the laser works without pressing any button, and it stop if I stop the connection(I was holding myself the cable and made it touch the ground).

    Try to connect the P- from the control panel to the L on the power supply.

    it's already connected to the L (laser ) of the motherboard , don't you find it could be a problem ?

    Alright, let's try to take a step back...

    On the new supply:

    H is an active high laser signal. If you supply +5V, the laser will fire.
    L is an active low laser signal. If you connect to ground, the laser will fire.

    You only need to use on of those to fire the laser. You choose which one based on what level your controller uses. L connected to L on the motherboard seems correct because you said engraving/cutting under control of the motherboard seems to work.

    P on the new power supply is connected to ground to enable the laser. It is used by the interlocks.

    You can confirm all of the above with a multimeter. Take voltage measurements between H and ground, L and ground, and P and ground. H and L should have +5V on them. This will help us to proceed.

    Do these tests without the wires connected to anything.

    Also check the voltage level between the P- on the control panel and ground. Push TEST while measuring to see if it changes.

    Check the voltage of L on the motherboard to ground.

    Without connecting ! OK ! you mean all thez wires or only the L and P ,
    here is the results only the L and P wires unconnected:

    H----> 0,0 v with test button ---> same
    L----> 4,92 v with test button ---> same
    P----> 4,92 v with test button ---> same

    Laser on mother board ---> 3,41v with test button ---> same
    P- on the control panel ---> 3,41v with test button ---> 0,00 v

    That's what I thought. P- is not permanently soldered to ground. This needs to go to the L pin on the power supply. No, it will not have issue sharing the same line with the motherboard. Because you will not be pressing TEST while you are running a job.

    The logic:

    If you supply 5V to the H pin, the laser will fire
    If you short the L pin to ground, the laser will fire
    P on the power supply needs to be connected to ground to enable the laser. This is your safety interlock.

    The LASER on the motherboard and the P- on the control panel both will short to ground when they want the laser to fire, 5V when they do not.

    Ok made !!
    nothing more , no laser beam when I press the test button, and no laser beam also when I try to engrave.

    but the laser still work when I press the test button on the power supply

    EDIT:

    YAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOO !!! it works , you were right so here is the connections:

    L on the motherboard and P- on the control panel goes to L on the power supply
    P on the power supply is a security and must be connected to the ground ......

    ?? That is confusing. Could you restate it?

    EDIT: Nevermind. I understand what you mean now after I re-read it.

    Now it works when I engrave and when I push the test button

    You have been a real great help for me,
    I don't have enough words in english to thanks you, now I just hope it will be useful for someone else !!!

    What did you change to make it work? Is it still connected just as I described? I would like to update my drawing.

    I made an edit on my thread :

    Ok now I know why I couldn't cut 3mm plywood, I was using okoumé plywood, it burns more than it cut, but with poplar plywood I cut it with 20% of power

    Yes in finland we also have two kind off birch plywood. Another cuts about 15-20% and cutting is nice brown and another burns like i dont what and how but smels like **** and burns black. It debends what glue they use.

    It's incredible I can even cut 5 mm plywood ! with 90 % of power...

    I think you're right it depends on the glue they use in the plywood , with Okoumé it burns and the smell is really dangerous !!!

    I've just try plain wood 10mm(afracan wood (Samba)) - 2 pass 90% power ... it cut !

    I going to change the lens for a 63,5 Focal one and then I wil put a 1000mm 50 w laser tube. Later I will also certainly put a dsp .
