Using CLE, on the command file

Hi all, I'm wondering about the CLE, command entered into the .CMD file. today the clearance did not adjust.

It was suggested that i must put a CLE,0 command at the end of the program for CLE, to work at all.

Can anyone shed some light in order for a better understanding on my part please?
